What method is the best to clean my carpet?
Dynamic Green Carpet and Floor Cleaning uses van mounted hot water extraction. This method is classified as “deep cleaning”. Also known as steam cleaning, due to the heat of the water used to clean your carpet. Hot water extraction rejuvenates your carpet fibers and brings them back to their original form. Dynamic Green Carpet and Floor Cleaning also offers a "dry-cleaning" method as we understand everyone's needs are different. We are able to accommodate your individual requests. During our on-site inspection, we will answer all of questions and guide you to the right method of cleaning.
What should I do to prepare my home for Dynamic Green Carpet and Floor Cleaning?
Please pre-vacuum and remove all the items you can on the carpeted areas. When possible also clear the nearest parking space you have that’s closest to your door. If you have furniture you would like moved, please keep in mind we can’t move electronics, fragile items, items over 60 pounds except for your sofa. There’s a limit on the number of items we will move. Please call for more information.
How long does it take to dry?
Carpet cleaning usually takes from 2 to 12 hours to dry depending on the condition and thickness of the carpet, humidity, heat and ventilation. You can walk on it as soon as we’re done. I wouldn’t throw a party, but normal traffic won’t hurt it.
What kind of chemicals do you use?
I use top-of-the-line carpet cleaning products consistent with industry standards and manufacturers recommendations. Our products are family and pet safe, environmentally friendly, and OSHA and EPA compliant.
Will the price ever change from the onsite inspection?
No, unless you want to add services such as applying deodorizer or Guardian Carpet Protector. If the area is over 250 sq feet, each additional square foot is 20 cents or 30 cents a sq ft with Guardian Protector. (Typically, an area over 250 sq ft is a living room/dining room combination or a large, great room.)
Do you charge for things like walk-in closets or bathrooms?
No, I combine those areas with what they are attached to unless it makes the carpet area over 250 sq. feet, which is really hard to do because most of the time those areas are in the master bedroom. We do ask however that you please remove all items from the floor in closets and small spaces.
Does my carpet get dirtier quicker after I clean them?
If your professional carpet cleaner does their job correctly then this will not happen. You cannot clean a carpet too often, in fact not getting your carpet cleaned is much worse. The reason why your carpet could get dirtier faster is if the company uses detergents that leave a residue on your carpet. Dynamic Green Carpet and Floor Cleaning makes sure your fabrics are rinsed properly so this does not happen.
How often should I clean my carpets?
For me, every week would be great but the correct answer would be every 6-12 months depending on how much traffic you have on your carpets. If there only adults in the house and you have a no shoe policy, without any pets, you can go 2 years or longer between carpet cleanings.
